Who We Are The Council for Global Equality brings together international human rights activists, foreign policy experts, LGBT leaders, philanthropists and corporate officials to encourage a clearer and stronger American voice on human rights concerns impacting LGBT communities around the world.
The Council for Global Equality is a fiscally sponsored project of Community Initiatives, a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization with 501c(3) charitable IRS tax status. Members of the Council have come together in support of the Council's mission, but all decision-making authority pertaining to the Council rests with Community Initiatives. Unless a member's name or logo appears in conjunction with a particular statement issued by the Council, no endorsement of the statement by any member should be implied.
